The “Explore your Local Area” course is designed for one or more children to do alongside one or more adults to create a fun focus for learning together.  This course is suitable for all ages from 5 to 16 and is designed to support:

• Anyone who is new to home education 
• Anyone feeling as if they might be stuck in a rut and looking for new ways to explore learning
• Anyone wanting to get outside more
• Anyone keen on giving project based learning a go

The course is presented as an easy to follow 36 page workbook PDF that you can work through together and takes 4 weeks to complete (with 4 free local excursions to enjoy).  How much time each week’s activities take will vary but might be 2 hours of being out and about exploring and 1 hour at home filling in the workbook and adding any evidence collected while out and about, making it a great structure around which to build some cross curricular learning into the week!
