ABOUT OUR PARTIES
LLP parties last around about an hour and are a chance for the whole family to play games with other families and have lots of fun! Parental involvement is strictly optional – no-one is going to make you do anything you don’t want to do!
Children (and adults if they want!) are encouraged to dress up or wear something that makes it feel a bit different and a bit silly! You are welcome to go to town and create some party snacks to have during the party. There will be music, dancing and games – but as always, everything is optional and if you just want to sit back and watch that is fine too!
We love to see how relaxed the children are at the parties. Perhaps because it is a “one-off” or perhaps because the whole atmosphere is different but often children who are usually quite reserved in lessons, throw themselves into the games! We think that giving them the opportunity to do this once, is a powerful step towards being more confident generally. So it might look like everyone is “just” being silly but actually we like to think that there is some important stuff taking place too!
