What has Lollipop been up to this week
This week, Lollipop has been busy on her travels and decided to give crochet a go!
After hearing all about the wonderful creations being made in our Crochet Club, she thought she’d pick up a hook and join in the fun. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite go to plan, and before she knew it, she was completely tangled up in a colourful mess of wool!
Don’t worry though – the children in Crochet Club are doing a much better job than Lollipop. We think she might need a little extra practice before her next crochet adventure!
ABOUT LOLLIPOP VISITS
Lollipop can visit any family living in the UK that has an annual Learn Laugh Play Community Membership. If you are a community member, visit your membership area (under “My Courses”) to find out how to request a visit from Lollipop.
Lollipop loves travelling across the country (courtesy of Royal Mail!) and prides herself on being the most well travelled home ed bear in the whole of the UK! She is very grateful for all the little gifts she often receives from her LLP friends. So far she has collected a crochet cardigan, a range of bracelets, ear accessories, socks and a sticker book – all handmade by her friends and all very appreciated by Lollipop!
LOLLIPOP’S DIARY
Apart from the excitement of Lollipop joining your family for a few days, the other thing that is very exciting is Lollipop’s diary! Lollipop takes it everywhere she goes! Our children love sharing what Lollipop has been up to, writing a personalised diary entry and adding photos, pictures and stickers, to capture their time with Lollipop. It is amazing how much a reluctant writer suddenly wants to write, if it is Lollipop’s diary! Having said that, if your child prefers to type or for you to be a scribe, that is just as exciting for Lollipop!
