INTRODUCTION
Hi, I’m Jennifer (Jen for short), and I teach French and Spanish here at Learn Laugh Play. I have 30 years’ experience teaching both languages (from beginners to A’ Level), and for 20 of those I was Head of Languages at a large secondary school. Even after 30 years, I still think that teaching is the best job in the world, and I would like to think that my enthusiasm for languages encourages the young learners in my classes. My classes offer a relaxed, supportive and inclusive environment where every child can enjoy the excitement and fun of learning a new language and gain in confidence along the way. I am proud of how the children in the LLP community always make new students feel welcome in their class, and how keen they are to celebrate each other’s achievements. I share my life with my daughter Abi Rose and our four cats Betsy, Basil, Bailey and Bobbin. Most students in my LLP classes will have seen an occasional guest appearance by one or more of my cats, as they are fond of snuggling into the sofa just behind my head!
