Gallery of Achievement | Learn Laugh Play

Welcome to our Gallery of Achievement — a space to celebrate the creativity, effort and progress of children learning with Learn Laugh Play. Here we share examples of work, projects and achievements from our community, recognising the individuality of every child and the different ways they learn and grow.

As part of our online learning community for home-educated families across the UK, we believe it’s important to celebrate not just results, but confidence, creativity and a love of learning. We love seeing the work your children have produced in our online classes.

Hover over the images to find out more about each wonderful piece. The text has been provided by the child’s parents to explain why the work is special for their child.

If your child has done something they are super proud of, please send it to us via email to [email protected] and mark the email SUBMISSION FOR THE LLP GALLERY. Make sure that the image is more or less square (like the images below) and well lit and clearly shows your child’s learning. As there are SO many wonderful pieces of work already in our gallery, we can only choose 4 really special pieces of work each month, so if your child’s work isn’t chosen, do keep trying. If you are new to home education, you can check out our learning resources section for support and ideas but there is also lots of inspiration from the children below!

In your email please include:

  • a good quality photograph
  • your child’s first name
  • the name of the class the child did the work in (or for)
  • a short sentence to describe your child’s work

By sending in your child’s work in this way, you are giving us permission to share the image and text on the LLP website and on our social media so do not include your child’s face or any distinguishing features i.e. your location unless you are happy to share these. Please note that if we really like a piece of work but it doesn’t quite make it onto the gallery, we might still share it on the site or on Social Media!

Beatrix’s learning in STEAM Club: “This is a filter I made to clean dirty water. I was very happy with the result. I made the filter out of an old sock stretched over the top, pebbles at the bottom and tissue paper on top of the rocks. The result you see was after I had only filtered it once so it’s very quick at cleaning the water. Thank you to Joanne for teaching such a good lesson and also a big thank you to the whole of LLP I enjoy all of my classes.”
