Hello everyone! I am Joanne and I’ll be taking your ‘Think like a Philosopher’ classes.

We are going to be learning about some of the great philosophers in history and also trying to answer many big questions. I am very much looking forward to having interesting discussion with you and hearing all your different ideas and opinions.

Think Like a Philosopher does not have a set plan as we can vary things dependent on children’s interests and events. We tackle big questions like what is the meaning of life? We look at philosophy within religions around the world. We consider ethics and morality and how these have changed over time. Everyone’s opinions are respected and welcomed.

For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this or needs to have their face covered during lessons for religious or any other reason please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
