This relaxed and expressive art class is perfect for children who love anime and want to bring their own characters to life through drawing. Inspired by the colourful world of anime and manga, we’ll explore how to draw expressive eyes, dynamic poses, and unique outfits – all while building confidence in our own art styles.

Children can work either traditionally on paper or digitally, and I’ll be demonstrating using both digital and traditional materials each week. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already drawing their own manga panels, they’ll be supported to develop their skills at their own pace.

As fans of anime, we’ll chat about our favourite characters, discover what makes them so engaging, and use that inspiration to design our own characters and their stories. Along the way, we’ll learn from each other and explore how to express emotion, movement, and personality through our artwork.

All content is age-appropriate, and the focus is on creative expression, visual storytelling, and developing your child’s individual art style in a supportive and fun environment.

We also have a Anime club 2 class that runs on Tuesday this class focuses on different topics and projects rather than being a duplicate of this class so you are welcome to join either or both!!
