Meet the LLP Teachers
Learn Laugh Play is a UK-based learning platform and community for home-educating families, providing live online classes, recorded lessons, and ongoing support. Our teachers are a central part of that experience. They create lessons that are fun, engaging, supportive, and suitable for a wide range of learners, helping children feel comfortable, confident, and positive about themselves as a learner. All Learn Laugh Play teachers are qualified teachers or specialists in their field and they understand the needs of home educating families and children. Many of them are home educating parents themselves and they all genuinely care about their students.
Lessons are designed to be flexible, allowing children to take part in a way that feels right for them, whether that is joining in actively, using the chat to contribute occasionally, observing the lesson without taking part or watching the recording. Alongside subject knowledge, our teachers focus on creating a calm and positive learning environment where children feel safe to take part, ask questions, and develop their confidence over time. Learninng is child led and our teachers will never put a child on the spot – we ask for volunteers and give less confident children time and space to build their confidence without feeling any pressure.
In addition to live lessons (and the recordings which are included in each class membership), teachers provide optional extra learning to complete between sessions. Children can also interact with their classmates via the membership area of each of their classes if parents give consent for this and supervise them.
This combination of structure, flexibility, and community helps create a unique learning experience where children can gain new skills and knowledge as well as hopefully developing a genuine love of learningand make some friends along the way.

By learning with the same teachers over time, children begin to feel more comfortable and we see their confidence grow. Teachers get to know the child as a learner, which allows them to develop a relationship and provide personalised support. This continuity helps create a learning environment that feels safe, and encouraging. It also means that your child receives consistent learning support, ensuring no gaps in their learning.
